Frequently Asked Questions

Do you take insurance? What are your fees?

Fees are $140 per session. We do not directly take insurance, but we gladly provide a superbill for you to submit to your insurance for possible reimbursement.

Do you do “regular” therapy?

We work with those coming from adverse religious experiences, but also work with those dealing with depression, anxiety, and life transitions, among other things, knowing that spirituality is interwoven into many aspects of our lives.

Do you offer in person or tele-therapy services?

Yes, we are available for both. Tele-therapy allows us to see anyone within the state of California.

Are you religiously affiliated?

We are not a ministry, nor do we offer Christian Counseling. We therapeutically walk alongside our clients in whatever season they are in. Religion has historically been viewed as a psychological strength, but we acknowledge that it does not always serve that purpose. Healthy spirituality can be an important component for our overall wellbeing and “health” may look very different for everyone.

Are you a group practice?

Each therapist in our office operates under their own license. While some practice policies may be shared, each therapist will communicate their own policies through intake paperwork and initial sessions. The Reclaim Family Therapy Corporation is directed by our executive team: Naomi Wiens, CEO, Karen Huckaby, CFO, and Breanna Turner, COO.

What informs your clinical ethic?

We operate under the law of CA and are licensed to provide psychotherapy with the Board of Behavioral Sciences. We are members in good standing with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and clinically follow the discretion of CAMFT ethical guidelines.

Where are you located?

2001 N Van Ness Blvd,
Fresno, CA 93704

Can I make an appointment for someone else?

If you’re looking to arrange something for your child or minor under your care, you can let us know what you’re looking for, and we can help find the appropriate therapist for your family.

If you’re wanting to set an appointment for a friend or relative over 18, unfortunately, they are the ones to consent and decide if therapy is right for them.

Do you prescribe medication?

A psychiatrist (MD) prescribes medication for mental health issues. A therapist can help their clients figure out if they should seek out medication and make referrals to primary care physicians, as well as local psychiatrists.
